SMS Terms & Conditions
Effective date: January 1, 2025 · Last updated: January 1, 2025
1. Program Description
Zolato provides a business management platform for home service contractors and small businesses (collectively, "Businesses"). As part of the platform, Businesses may use Zolato to send SMS text messages to their customers for purposes including:
- Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
- Job estimates and quotes
- Service notifications and status updates
- Invoice and payment requests
- Customer care and support communications
All messages are sent on behalf of the individual Business whose services you have engaged. Zolato is the technology provider facilitating these communications.
2. Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile phone number to a Business that uses the Zolato platform — including when requesting a quote, booking an appointment, completing a service intake form, or through any other opt-in method offered by that Business — you consent to receive text messages from that Business via the Zolato platform.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by Business and depends on your engagement with that Business. You may receive messages related to scheduled appointments, active jobs, estimates, invoices, and service updates. Typical customers receive 2–8 messages per month, though this will vary.
4. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging and data rates apply to all SMS messages sent and received. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
5. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from a Business at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent from that Business.
You may also contact the Business directly to request removal from their messaging list.
6. Help
For help, reply HELP to any message or contact the Business directly. You may also contact Zolato support at support@zolato.ai.
7. Supported Carriers
Participating carriers include, but are not limited to: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and other major US wireless carriers. Carrier support for SMS messaging programs may vary.
8. Privacy
Your mobile phone number and messaging information are handled in accordance with our SMS Privacy Policy. Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS communications are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
9. Changes to These Terms
Zolato reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued receipt of messages after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
