("Zolato", "we", "us") handles mobile phone numbers and SMS-related data collected through the Zolato platform on behalf of home service businesses and contractors ("Businesses") that use our services. This policy applies specifically to SMS messaging programs facilitated by Zolato.

2. Information Collected

When you provide your mobile phone number to a Business using Zolato, we collect:

• Your mobile phone number
• Opt-in date and method
• Message delivery and interaction data (sent, delivered, opt-out status)

3. How We Use Your Information

Your mobile phone number is used solely to:

• Deliver SMS messages on behalf of the Business you have engaged
• Process and honor opt-out requests (STOP)
• Maintain delivery and compliance records as required by carriers and regulators

4. No Sharing for Marketing Purposes

Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party for marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in information is not shared with third parties for their own marketing use under any circumstances.

5. Limited Disclosures

We may share SMS-related data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With the Business: The Business on whose behalf the message is sent can see delivery status and opt-out records for their customers.
• With carriers and messaging providers: Required to deliver messages (e.g., Twilio as our SMS infrastructure provider).
• As required by law: If required by legal process, court order, or applicable law.

6. Data Retention

Mobile phone numbers and opt-in/opt-out records are retained for as long as needed to honor opt-out requests and comply with applicable telecommunications regulations. If you opt out (reply STOP), your number is flagged to prevent future messages from that Business.

7. Your Rights & Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation and no further messages will be sent from that Business.
